Be Inspired: Shakespeare and Me

The Shakespeare Film Festival: The Name of Action by Thomas Pollock

'The Name of Action', directed by Thomas Pollock and starring Andrew McNeill, is a combination of the Western film aesthetic and the 'To be, or not to be' soliloquy from 'Hamlet'.

'The powerful thing about Shakespeare's work is the way in which it continues to relate to the human condition. All that changes is the setting, which is what inspired me to use his work as inspiration for The Name of Action.'   Andrew McNeill
