Draft case [seeking the thoughts of Council] regarding the election of the Chamberlain from among the Aldermen as opposed to from among the Burgesses, following a case when the Chamberlain's post was conferred upon an Alderman by the Council upon rejection of the proposed candidate who was a Burgess.
