Description
Memorandum of agreement [between Thomas Hitchman of Salford, Farmer of Oxfordshire and Robert Hobbes] regarding the tenancy of a property on the Warwick Road including a messuage [house] with three parcels of meadow adjoining..containing twelve acres...late in the occupation of William Kemp...for a term of one year from the 25th day of March 1848...[for the] rent of £65 per year..... [also] that Robert Hobbess...stock and grub up the fence...cut down trees and fill the ditch between the Slinget meadow and the other meadow to form one field.
