Samuel Winter the elder of Stratford-upon-Avon, yeoman for 99 years of all that messuage or tenement and malthouse with the garden outbuildings and appurtenances in Chapel Street. The messuage or tenement is now in the tenure or occupation of John Butcher and the malthouse is now in the tenure of George Baylis. Bounded by a messuage or tenement and premises in the occupation of John Baylis, surgeon, on the north part thereof; and a messuage or tenement and premises in the occupation of Job Archer, butcher, on the south part thereof (?belonging to Mr Hands); the said street called Chapel Street on the west part thereof; and a garden belonging to Mr William Hunt on the east part thereof. (Measurements given) With plan (recording Mr Gastrell as adjoining owner) and an estimate of 'New Sashing and Rough Casting the late Mr Winters House' including the construction of a brewhouse, slaughterhouse, stable etc, 6 Sep 1785
