Sophia Battersbee, widow; Henry Farington of Manchester, merchant; Edward Vernon Esquire of Flower, the executrix and executors of Edmund Battersbee, banker, deceased, and William George Morris, banker and co-partner of the said Edmund Battersbee, dece for 17 years. Reciting lease dated 27 Nov 1788 made by 1 to Charles Henry Hunt (but not executed) and reciting that estate and effects of Charles Henry Hunt assigned to Edmund Battersbee and William George Morris. 1 at the request of 2 to 3 of all that messuage or tenement (used as a Banking House) in Chapel Street with appurtenances thereto belonging formerly in the tenure or occupation of Mary Nixon and Elizabeth Nixon and afterwards of Charles Henry Hunt but for several years last past in the occupation of the said Edmund Battersbee and William George Morris. Bounded by a messuage or tenement now in the occupation of Mrs Ewer on the north part thereof and a messuage or tenement and premises in the occupation of William George Morris on the south part Including plan. Written on outside of counterpart lease: 'Not executed' and 'Now occupied by Marshall ?'. 'These Premises are now used as a Dispensary' written on the outside of the lease
