Copy probate of the will, dated 9 April 1842, of Thomas Tasker of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman, with bequests of money to various named relatives and friends and bequeathing to his wife, Mary, a messuage in the Shambles, Alcester, late in the tenure of his father-in-law, Richard Edkins, a messuage in Wood Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, wherein he now dwells (the latter to hold for life with reversion to his great-nephew, William Tasker, only son William Tasker (son of the testator's brother John Tasker)) and his leasehold messuage in Wood Street, adjoining the last in the tenure of Ann Gibbs; and leaving the rest of his real estate to trustees for sale for the benefit of his nephews and nieces, the children of his brothers, William and John Tasker.
