Indenture of agreement, dated St. Michael, 28 Edw.I., between Richard le Power of Clifford on the one part and William de Hayle and Cecilia his wife, who held in her own right, of the other part, by which the said Richard demised to the said William and Cecilia for their lives, a messuage with a croft in Clifforde between the messuages which William Wodekoc and Agnes de Bodebroke formerly held, and 3 acres of arable land in the fields of Clifford of which one acre lay in the field towards Stratford at le Dedecherles put between the lands of Hugh de Clinton' and Richard Wodekoc: another half acre in le Hul furlong between the lands of Hugh de Clinton' and John de Welmecot'; 3 other ferpendels (¾ of an acre) in the fields towards Goldicot' at le Monekenesferde between the lands of Hugh de Clinton' and William le Dyer, and 3 other ferpendels in le Sortemerss between the lands of Hugh de Clinton' and Richard son of Roger le Sepeherde, paying to the grantor 5s. annual rent and suit of court, for which demise the said William and Cecilia have paid 3s. 6d Witnesses: Roger le Powe[r] of Clifford, Hugh de Clinton', Henry le Wayte, William le Wayte, Richard de Sirburn', and many others Seal lost
