Counterpart of lease, indented, from Roger Pagette master of the Gild of the Holy Cross etc. of Stratford upon Auen, John Barnard, baker, and Thomas Notte, proctors with the assent of John Hannys, John Clopton, John Gylberte, John Eyres, John Oxton, John Wager, John Brekenoke, and William Suche, aldermen of the said Gild, to Richard Pernyll of Stratford `smyth', and Agnes his wife of a tenement in Stratford in Hystrete, between a tenement of the Duke of Clarence called `le Bere' and a tenement of John Huband, esq., in which Margaret Bull', widow, then dwelt; for term of the lives of the said Richard and Agnes and Roger their son at an annual rent of 20s. and a chief rent of 3s Witnesses: John Clopton `capitalis ballivus ville de Stratford'', John Gylberte and Thomas Dawbys, `constabularii', William Bery and Robert Iremonger `subballivi', Roger Palmar, clerk of the Gild and others Dated at Stratford in the Hall of the Gild, on the Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Mary, 12 Edw.IV Seals: (1) Of red wax, circular.
