Description

Indenture of lease for a year by Thomas Goodwin of Shortwood in the parish of Tardibigg co. Worcs., yeoman and Anne his wife and Anne Nashe of Webbs Farm in the parish of Tardibigg aforesaid co. Worcester widow, the only daughter and heir of Thomas Goodwin by the said Anne his wife, to William Morteboys of the parish of Alcester co. Warwick yeoman and William Ashwin of Bradforton co. Worcester yeoman, of the messuage with appurtenances in Nether Binton co. Warwick late in the occupation of John Barlow and then of Thomas Applebee, and the six closes known as the Hill Close, Sheephouse Close, Long Close, Pigg Close, Pinford Close and the Neyt, also a close called The Grove containing co. 2 acres with messuage near adjoining in Binton, Over Binton and Nether Binton late in the occupation of Richard Biddle and then of William Baldwyn, also the six yards land in Binton late in the occupation of John Barlow and then of Thomas Applebee, together with six parts in forty one parts to be divided of all the furse, briars, thorns and bushes growing on the waste ground and common within the manor and lordship of Binton, and together with common of pasture for 12 horses, 24 kine rother or great beasts and 104 score sheep, at a rent of one penny if it should be demanded.
