Gift with warranty by John ad Vado of Edreston [Edstone] to John and Margerie his freehold tenants for their services one complete messuage with houses, buildings, hedges, ditches etc. which he holds by gift of Alice his mother, with two [sic] acres of arable in the fields of Edrestone, viz. half an acre in the ploughland called Inhething between the lands held by Henry de Hamstede and Matilda Cotu', half an acre at Onerefenne between the land held by Walter LeWooler and the headland held by Hugh le Bedel, half an acre in Totonnewey between the lands of John de Kyrkeby and Richard de Kyrkeby, and half an acre in the ploughland called Anoteshull adjacent to the aforesaid headland and extending into Neverefenne between the lands of John de Kyrkeby and Matilda Cotu'. To hold of the chief lords of that fee, of John ad Vado and his heirs and assigns, for homage and due and usual services.
