Description

Gift from William prior of the church of Coventr', and the convent of the same, to Robert Falke of all the land which Henry Jaumbe gave to the priory and confirmed by his charter; namely, a ploughland with the wood growing thereon reaching in length from the capital messuage once belonging to Henry Jaumbe as far as the land of the said Robert, and in width from the highway as far as the great grove once belonging to John de Filungel', and also a little grove growing within the said furlong; also within the great grove a strip of land 11 feet in width by the measure of the feet of Henry de Clokar', reaching in length from the croft once belonging to John de Filungel' as far as the land of the said Robert; to hold to the said Robert rendering annually to the said church, and especially to the altar of the Blessed Mary where mass is daily celebrated, 6 pence at Michaelmas; and the said Robert is not to alienate the said land, unless the said rent continues to be paid.
