Description

Gift with warranty from David son of Geoffrey de Wilnhale [of] Coventr' to Walter de Coundelme of a part of his land in the Market Place of Coventr' which lies between the land which Robert de Maxstoke held and the land which William de Wilnhale formerly held; to hold the same of the said David to the said Walter and his assigns, except a religious house, rendering annually 2 shillings of silver, and to the chief lord of the fee, 4 shillings (4 terms): and for this the said Walter gives 8 shillings. Witnesses: Robert de Feugers, reeve, Richard de Fonte, John Simond, William de Paylinton', Robert Hamund, William de Allesleye, Roger Starie, Reginald le Rous, Robert de Maxstoke, Walter Marescall', Geoffrey Bretoun, Reginald de Withibroc and others.
