Description

Gift with warranty from Henry Brayn of Coventr' to Robert son of Henry Baker (Pistoris) of a piece of arable land outside the town of Coventr' called Le Schocheresfeld' lying between the land of Margery widow of Walter de Bannebur' and the land of Alexander de Vinet' in breadth and extending in length from the road leading towards Cundulm' [Coundon] as far as the lands of Richard le Porser'; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee; and for this the said Robert gives 100 shillings. Witnesses: Henry Baker (Pistore), bailiff, William le Parker', coroner, John Pyhod, Thomas le Moubray, Mathew de Ruyton', William Mauntel and others.
