Quitclaim with warranty from Hugh son and heir of Henry de Meritone of Stoke formerly dwelling in Coventr' to Nicholas de Stonton' and Margery his wife of all his right in a messuage and 40 shillings annual rent which the said Nicholas and Margery lately had by the grant of John de Schulton' kinsman of Brother Henry prior of Coventr', which messuage lies in `maiori vico parci' [Much Park Street] in Coventr' between the tenement of the Abbot of Comba and the tenement of Geoffrey Frebern and which rent issues from the tenement formerly belonging to Thomas de Balisale in `vico comitis' [Earl Street] next the tenement in which Alice Box dwelt. Witnesses: John de Clifton', bailiff of Coventr', Roger de Pacwod', coroner, William Grauntpe, Geoffrey Frebern, Henry atte Heth', William Horn, Richard de Schipton', John de Baldeswell', Elya Frebern and others.
