Bargain and sale from Thomas Fisshere of Warwick, esq. to Thomas Gregorie of Coventr'. gent., and Arthur Gregorie his son and heir, for 40 pounds of the following; 2 shillings annual chief rent and rent of assize with service from the lands and tenements of John Ferrers, esq. in Stichall; 9 shillings annual chief rent and rent of assize with service from the lands and tenements of Thomas Gregorie in Stichall; 10s. 6d. from the lands and tenements of Thomas Hill late of George Kebell' in Stichall; 20 pence from the lands and tenements of Christ's College, Cambridge, in Stichall; 4 pence from the lands and tenements lately of the fellowship of Drapers of Coventr' in Stichall; 18 pence and a pound of cumin from a tenement and a quarterne of land of Thomas Hill, lately Richard Norres, in Stichall; nine pence halfpenny from a cottage in Stichall of Thomas Gregorie lately Richard Norres; and 8 pence from two cottages in Stichall of Robert Turnor lately Richard Norres; and also all deeds, charters and court rolls, rents rolls concerning the said rents and rights and liberties of Courts Leet and views of frankpledge; to hold the said rents with heriots, reliefs and wardships for ever as fully as the said Thomas Fisshere purchased them from Richard, bishop of Coventr' and Lichefeilde by indenture bearing date 20 February, 1 Edward VI [1546/7: see no. 1313] Dated: 6 November, 5 Elizabeth Seal on tag; circular, red, broken.
