Description

Lease and release, the release to create a tenant to the precipe, from Charlotte Bale of London, spinster, to John Hood of New Inn, co. Middx., gent., for 3050 pounds paid by Arthur Gregory of Stivichall, alias Stichall, esq. to the said Charlotte Bale, and for 5 shillings paid to her by the said John Hood, of the lands in Stivichall containing sixty acres in the occupation of Abraham Dry, and let for 30 pounds yearly, fifty-two acres in Stivichall in the occupation of Francis Ebourne, let for 26 pounds yearly, forty-eight acres in Stivichall in the occupation of William Wood, let for 40 pounds yearly, twenty-four acres in Stivichall in the occupation of Thomas Roads, let for 12 pounds yearly, and all other lands contained within the manor of Stivichall, and lately purchased by the said Charlotte Bale of the said Arthur Gregory for the uses therein expressed [nos. 930, 931]; to hold the same to the said John Hood, for the purpose that William Snell of St. Laurence, Poultney in London, gent., should sue out a writ of entry against the said John Hood and recover the said premises for the use of the said Arthur Gregory and his heirs for ever.
