Probate copy of the will, dated 6 October 1573, of Nicholas Hardinge of Fyllongley, yeoman, in which he leaves his house and grounds which he has surrendered to John Oughton' to the use of his son Abraham Hardinge and his heirs to enjoy the same immediately after the death of his wife Margaret according to the custom of the manor of Fyllongley; to Sara Hardinge and Susan Hardinge his daughters 20 marks each; the parsonage of the vicarage of [Fillon]gley to his executors; his tenement in Barstone to be let for 21 years; and the residue of his goods and chattels to his wife, who is to be executrix. --- and William Hardinge to be overseers. Proved before Thomas, bishop of Coventry and Lichfield, 25 April 1574.
