Baddesley Clinton

Description

Gift from James de Clinton'. lord of Baddesleye, to William Godmon of Wroxhale of one and a half acres of waste land in Baddesleye lying together between the land held by Thomas de la Le on the one hand, and the waste land of the said James on the other, and extending in length from the Parcfeld' as far as the said waste land of the said James. To hold the said lands freely for ever, rendering 6d. at the two terms, that is 3d. at the feast of St. Mary in March and 3d. at the feast of St. Michael, in lieu of all services and suit of court, except foreign service and two attendances annually at the two great courts of the said James. Consideration: 20s. Warranty clause. Sealing clause.
