Description

Quitclaim from Thomas son and heir of James lord of Baddusleye to Robert le Purcer' of Warr' of all lands, tenements, woods, meadows pastures and feedings which the said Robert held by gift and feoffment from the said James, father of the said Thomas, and which formerly belonged to Gilbert Trustan. To hold the same for ever from the chief lord of the fee for due and customary service. Sealing clause. Witnesses: Thomas de Baddusleye, Alan de Rouhintun [the letter w superimposed on the letters uh], John de Pessam, John atte Wodyate, John de Napford and others. Given at Baddusleye Monday next after the feast of the Translation of St. Thomas the Martyr 17 Edward II [11 July 1323]. Circular seal of natural wax on tag, part only. 1 in.
