Attested copy of a gift from Edward Ferrys of Badsley Clynton esq. to Christopher Brome of Halton [Holton], Oxon. esq., Edmund Wyndesor [of Bradenham] co. Bucks. esq. and Thomas Hawse of co. Warr' gent. of the manor of Badsley Clynton together with lands and appurtenances in Badsley Clynton or elsewhere in co. Warr', the manor of Fisherton Ager [Fisherton Anger] co. Wilts. with appurtenances and the advowson of the church, and all other lands in Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex. Kent and London, together with any reversion of the said manors of Badsley Clynton and Fisherton Ager or of the manor of Hambledone[Hambleton, co. Rutland]. To hold the same for ever together with all deeds and evidences relating to the said property. Consideration : £1,500. 10 March 3 Elizabeth [1560/1]. Memorandum that the said Edward Ferrers acknowledged the said gift in Chancery on 9 May [1561].
