Gift from Nicholas Ferrers gent. son of Lady Constance Ferrers widow to the said Constance and John Rey of Warwick yeoman of a messuage with appurtenances called Bromesplace in Warwick with all lands, tenements and commons in Warwick and Myton in the occupation of Katherine Wright widow and Edmund Wright and lately of John Wright now deceased, father of the said Edmund, a barn and two crofts adjacent to the said messuage in Myllestrete, one croft lying opposite the said barn in Myllestrete and 30 acres of land in the common fields of Myton, which barn and three crofts were in the occupation of Walter Haley by the assignment of the said John Rey, a barn with adjacent land in the suburbs of Warwick called Spyttellmyllstrete in the tenure of Thomas Phillippes, a croft in Myton in the tenure of William Baker, and one parcel of land in Westestrete ... which property the said Nicholas and ... mercer of London lately held to the use of the said Nicholas by a feoffment of the said Constance dated 26 August 38 Henry VIII [1546].
