Assignment from Henry Churchill, Samuel Dudley, George Palmer and William Taylor, with the consent of John Loder of Napton on the Hill, clerk, and Elizabeth his wife, and at the nomination of Henry Tomes of Southam, joiner and carpenter, and Mary Combes, widow of John Combes, late of Southam, yeoman, to John Cookes of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman, for £300, of a mortgage, recited (no. 103) of property in Snitterfield; to hold for the residue of a term of 500 years in trust for Thomas Cookes of Billesley, gentleman, to attend the inheritance and freehold which the said Thomas Cookes has contracted to purchase from Henry Tomes and Mary Combes for £500.
