Covenant to levy a Fine: Bridge Street, Stratford-upon-Avon

Description

Covenant between Richard Smith of Stratford-upon-Avon, yeoman and Mary, his wife of the first part, Edmund Chambers of Gorcott in Studley, gent. and Edward Owen of Clifford Chambers, gent. of the second part, and Thomas Hitchcox of Stratford, barber-chirurgion of the third part, for £76 paid by Thomas Hitchcox, to levy a fine and suffer a Recovery of a messuage in Stratford in the Middle Row between Bridge Street on the South and Back Bridge Street on the North, in the tenure of him the said Richard Smith, to the use of Edward Owen of Clifford Chambers, co. Glouc., gent., in trust for the said Thomas Hitchcox. Witnesses: Richard Kempson, Edmund Hayes, Thomas Nason, H. Phillips, W. Fetherston and Henry Farran. With counterpart.
