Quitclaim from Thomas son and heir of James de Clinton' of Baddesleye to John de Bannebury of Warrewyk' of one piece of wood containing five acres lying in the parish of Baddesleye called Gilberdeshurne and also one piece of arable land in the same parish called Bancroft'; the said wood lying between the land called Grenefeld' on the one hand and the wood of Haiwode on the other in breadth, and extending in length `dil vif aspen iche' as far as le Brounefeld which is from the land of John de Pesham. The said piece of arable land extending from the road next to le Lutelpark' leading towards Henleye, together with the meadow pertaining to it as far as the brook, in length and in breadth as is clearly shown by the metes and bounds. Sealing clause. Witnesses: John de Pesham, William Moreie, John son of Nicholas, William de Nonneleye, William Gegge and others. Given at Baddesleye Wednesday next after the feast of SS.
