Description

Quitclaim with warranty from Joan Hudson', widow, late wife of William Hudson' of Coventr', and John Hudson' son of the said William, to Richard Passand', alias Richard Clerk of Coventr', baker, and Margaret his wife, William Forster, chaplain, and Richard Plumpton', of all her right in all the lands, tenements, rents, etc. in the vill and fields of Stychale which once belonged to Joan Skott late of Coventr', widow, and which the said William Hudson', with Ralph Wode, chaplain, now deceased, had by the gift of the said Joan Skotte; with the further quitclaim of all her right in a messuage in Coventr' in the street called Gosford' between the tenement of the Gild of the Holy Trinity, Coventr' and the tenement of the Prior and Convent of Coventr', and reaching in length from the said street to the land of the said Gild; which messuage with appurtenances the said John lately had by the gift of Elias Rybchester, chaplain, and which messuage, (by writ `de recto' in the Court of Edward IV late king of England, at Westminster, before Thomas Bryan' and other justices of the bench, as appears in the record of Easter Term, 21 Edward IV, roll 359) the said Elias, with the said William Hudson', recovered from William Corbrond'; with the further quitclaim of all her right in three acres of meadow and nine acres of wood in Allesley, which land the said Joan had by the confirmation of the said Elias Rybchester, chaplain, and which land by similar proceedings, (as appears by the record of the Easter term, 22 Edward IV, roll 357) the said Elias with the said William recovered from Humphrey Davy and Agnes his wife.
