Conveyance by lease and release from Constance Welchman of Bromsgrove, co. Worcs., (widow of the late William Welchman, daughter of the late Edward Welchman, and sister and devisee of Ann Welchman, spinster) and William Welchman of Bubbenhall, gentleman (son of the said Constance Welchman and nephew of the said Ann Welchman) and Sarah his wife, to Robert Baxter of Furnivals Inn, co. Middx., gentleman (reciting nos. 260-1, 264-8) of the messuage and lands in Tanworth, as before described; to hold the same that a recovery may be made by Daniel Mander of Southam, apothecary, to the use of William Torrington of Southam, mercer, as security for a loan of £650, paid as follows: £500 to William Welchman, contracted in debts for the maintenance of himself, his wife and children; £100 to John Wright of Shipston-upon-Stour, innholder, and Mary his wife (niece, and entitled to an unpaid legacy under the will of the said Anne Welchman); and £50 to Richard Mister of Shipston-upon-Stour, saddler (nephew and also entitled to an unpaid legacy under the will of the said Anne Welchman); and then to the use of Richard Welchman of Dodford, co. Northants., clerk, and John Welchman of Great Kington, apothecary, as trustees for William Welchman after the death of Constance Welchman. With bond to perform covenants.
