Knight of Barrels


Demise in trust by William Holmes of Studley, co. Warwick, farmer, at the request of (his mother) Frances Holbeeh of the same, widow, to Thomas Lee of Edgbaston near Birmingham, gent., and John Greaves of Kings Coughton, same county, farmer, of a messuage, malthouse and lands in Studley to secure payment of an annuity of £20 p.a. agreed to be paid to the said Frances Holbech during her life. Endorsed 1 January 1806, in consequence of the bankruptcy of William Holmes and assignment and sale of the premises, with surrender by Thomas Lee and John Greaves of all except the messuage and malthouse which remained charged with the said annuity and had been sold on that condition.
