Draft assignment by John Thomas, Blackfriars Road, Surrey, shoemaker, James Thomas, Crays Inn Road, Middx., hosier, Samuel Thomas, Blackfriars Road, Surrey, hosier, John Medlicott, Bimingham, agent., Catherine Medlicott, Aldon Court, Salop., spinster, Frank Howard, Hamborow [sic or rather Flamborow] Notts., esq., to John Rowlands the younger Worcester, gent., for £90 each of their 6/8 shares in the reversionary interest of £3000 under the will of Charles Medlicott, S/A, draper, dated 29 January 1842, who died 29 April 1847, subject to the life interest of his wife Elizabeth Medlicott. By his will Charles Medlicott bequeathed his personal estate to trustees, Edward Medlicott and the said John Rowlands the younger in trust to sell, and invest £3000 for benefit of his surviving nephews and nieces, subject to life interest of wife. At his death there were 8 surviving, viz: Edward Medlicott, Thomas, John Thomas, James Thomas, Catherine Atkinson, formerly Catherine Green, widow, Samuel Thomas, Ann wife of Charles Johnston, John Medlicott and Cather Medlicott. Edward Medlicott Thomas assigned his 1/8 reversionary interest to Frank Howard in 1850.
