Legal bill to Hon John Verney, executor of George, Lord Willoughby de Broke in re case in Prerogative Court of Canterbury brought by Richard, Lord Willoughby de Broke Note Hon John Verney, the younger surviving son of George, Lord Willoughby de Broke, trained in the law, becoming K.C. 1727, Attorney General to Queen Caroline 1729, and Master of the Rolls 1738. He died 5 Aug 1741. Under the terms of his father's will he, rather than his elder brother Richard, inherited all the unsettled estates.
