Counterpart of lease, indented, from Thomas Clopton, esq., master, John Brugge and John Hawkesford, proctors, with the assent of Roger Pagette, John Gylberte, John Bryghtwell, John Wager, Thomas Bocher, William Hunscote, John Tetersale, aldermen, of the Gild of the Holy Cross, etc. of Stratford upon Auen, to John Hogekyns and Felicia his wife, of a burgage in Stratford in Rotherstrete, between a tenement of John Bedull' and a close of William Harrewell, esq., and extending in length from the said street to the field of Shoterey, for 60 years at an annual rent of 2s. and a chief rent of 12d. the said John and Felicia to build anew a mansion at the street side with oak timber and tiled within the space of two years, and maintain it in good repair Dated at Stratford in the hall of the Gild on the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 21 Edward IV Seal lost
