Counterpart of lease, indented, from Thomas Leeke, master of the Gild of the Holy Cross, etc. of Stratford upon Auen, and William Prodoun and William Hale, proctors, with the assent of the aldermen and the whole council of the Gild, to Nicholas Mayell, Agnes his wife, and two of their sons to be chosen as they pleased, of a tenement in Stratford in Grenehulstrete, between a tenement of the `baron' of Ouersley formerly of William Mollynge and John Say and a tenement of the heirs of William Mayell, for 70 years at an annual rent of 7 shillings, and a chief rent of 8 pence Witnesses: William Couper, `capitalis ballivus', Thomas Staffordshire and Rouland Bocher, `subballivi', Thomas Treweman, Thomas Mychell and others Dated at Stratford, Tuesday in the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, 33 Hen.VI Seals of red wax: (1) Broken.
