Grant, indented, by Roger Pagette, master of the Gild of the Holy Cross, etc. of Stratford upon Auen, Thomas Clopton, esq., John Brugge, John Oxton, John Wager, Richard Bentley, William Buggy, William Hunscote, Richard Buggy, aldermen, and John Barbour and William Jeffes, proctors of the same, to John Somer, chaplain, of a sacerdotal service to celebrate in the chapel of the Gild for the brethren and sisters of the same living and dead, for term of his life in sickness and in health, receiving 8 marks annually therefor, and a chamber which Thomas Wager lately held and part of the garden `infra mansum eiusdem Gilde sicut inter se et socios suos secundum numerum capellanorum sortiis contigerit', with its fruit, and also annually a yard of cloth `de le lyverey' of the Gild as often as the other brethren and sisters receive it from the master and proctors Dated in the hall of the Gild, 20 October, 4 Henry VII Seal lost
