Account of John Webbe, Master of the Guild of the Holy Cross, the Blessed Mary, and St. John Baptist, from the Morrow of the Feast of the Translation of St. Thomas the Martyr, 14 Henry VI., to the Morrow of the same Feast, 15 Henry VI The Account, the writing of which is rather faded, is rendered under the following headings Arrears Fines. (Amongst other names are those of William Meryn, Bailiff of Atherston, and Matilda his wife ; Juliana, wife of Thomas Lake ; William Tandy of the Forest of Fekenham, and Sibilla his wife (pledges mentioned); William Cawle, "parchmentmaker," and Alice his wife, and for the soul of Margaret his late wife ; Richard Taylour ; John Buthill, of Warwick, "vestment maker." Numerous fines for souls.
