(11s 9½d for "lathys" for the tenement called "le Angell"; 6s 8d paid to a "tyler" for "takynge down" the tiles upon the Hall there, and for tiling a house within the said tenement; 3s 4d paid to John Robyns for "pullynge doune" the Hall there; 10s paid for bread, beer, and other victuals at "le rerynge" of the said Hall; 20d paid to a carpenter working at the same time; payments for "lathe nayle," iron for "le Gulleputtes yate," "spykenayle," "stodynge," rafter for "stodynge," "evespolles," nails, "bryke tyle," "lyme stones," "sonde," and "fyllyng" the carts with the sand; 33s 4d paid to a mason for making a chimney in the Hall there; payments for making two windows, for "bordes and nayles" for the windows, and for lead; 25s for the board of the carpenters with 6 labourers for 6 weeks, at 10d a week; 14s paid to Robert Iremonger for nails and other necessary things ; 6s 8d paid to a carpenter for working 21 days in making "mantelles, dormondes, wyndowes, and plankynge"; 2s 8d paid for his board during this time; payments for "guttur tyles," "crestes," and iron (5s 8d for 116 lbs.), for making "hynges and twystes and hookes," for tiles, for tiling upon the Hall, "pro factura de le porche ibidem quondam gradum ibidem," for "plasterynge" there, for "pavynge" there, for "pavynge" in the Hall there, and "teryngne" there; 4s 6d paid for the board of the paviour and 2 labourers for 3 weeks, at 9d a week (sic); payments for "sparres" and for 14 cartloads of earth ; 10s 4½d paid to John Bromefeld and his 2 labourers for 2 weeks 3½ days; 5s 7½d paid for their board during the same time; 20d for the board of the above-mentioned paviour; payments for "rent borde," for nails and other things of iron, for 8 "carect' plaustr'," and for "lathynge" the chambers there) [No heading.] (Payment for lead for the spout, and for "dymes"; 6s 8d paid to the Escheator for the Chapel; 3s 4d the salary of Roger Palmer, the Clerk; 12d paid to Roger Palmer for riding to the funeral of "Dominæ Joys, Mris Johannis Grevyll, militis," c.)
