Probate of the will (9 Oct 1875) of Robert Robins Fletcher, Stratford-upon-Avon, bank manager. All personal estate to trustees (Thomas Slatter, Stratford-upon-Avon, gent. and Manley Cornell Ashwin, Stratford-upon-Avon, merchant) to invest and pay interest for life, or until remarriage of wife Matilda to said wife and after death or remarriage, all capital equally among children, Thomas, William, Isabella and Lucy. Trustees are executors and legatees of £25 each. Executors' bank book, 1899-1916, with bills in re payments into Court under Trustee Act, 1916, and affidavit of trustees in re same. [In 1909, Susannah Ashwin widow of Manley Cornell died, having appointed Frances Anne Ashwin of Stratford-upon-Avon, spinster and Manley Horton Ashwin of Stratford-upon-Avon, merchant, her executors in her will, 12.10.1908. With papers and correspondence re attempts to trace Thomas Fletcher, one of the children of Robert Robins Fletcher, in Australia and his subsequent claim on the estate.
