Agreement between John Hathaway Turbitt of Pillerton House, esq., to William Buller of Stratford-upon-Avon, maltster, for the sale and purchase of a house in Wood Street, 17 May 1803. Bundled with this is a collection of unrelated items, (probably the personal papers of Robert Hiorne Hobbes) comprising literary and medical extracts, and other miscellanea. Includes: - Release of executorship under the Will of Thomas Pole of Binfield, co. Berks., victualler, from Robert Pole of the same, victualler and Sarah Taylor of Reading, co. Berks., widow, to Sir James Patey and William Davenport, 2 July 1784. - Discharges from Thomas Lanchester of Coney Weston, co. Suffolk, gent., (10 May 1806) and Thomas Williams of Stratford-upon-Avon, leather breeches maker (23 May 1806) to Robert Wheler of Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., surviving executor of John Preston, late of Stratford-upon-Avon, surgeon, for legacies. - Particulars of sale of a house in High Street, and closes of pasture in Warwick, to be sold by the assignees of John Barrett; 6 September 1813. - Declaration in a case, Edwards Hawkes v. Samuel Smith on a plea of debt, 19 May 1819. - Will of Ann Rankin of Mill Lane, Hendon, co. Middx., widow, ... 1822 (unexecuted). - Articles of Robert Hiorne Hobbes of Bedford Row, co. Middx., with John Swarbreck Gregory of the same, gent., solicitor; 21 June 1822 (See also DR325/1453). - Declaration in a case, James Townsend v. William Arnold, 19 November 1828 - Draft petition of the inhabitants of Stratford-upon-Avon, adopted at a meeting in the Town Hall on 29 September 1831 in favour of the Reform Bill. - Plans and elevation of unidentified houses (possibly in Warwick Road), undated.
