Assignment by Ann Marriot of Derby, co. Derby, spinster, sole executrix of the will of Richard Marriot late of Alscot, co. Glos., esq., deceased and Frances Butler of Greenwich, co. Kent, widow, surviving executrix of the will of William Halford late of Halford, co. Warwick, gent., and afterwards of Camberwell, co. Kent, clerk, deceased, by appointment of John Knottesford, Studley, esq. and at the nomination of the Rt. Hon. Robert Earl of Catherlough, Viscount Barrels and Baron Luxborough of Shannon, Ireland, to Joseph Cruttenden of Surgeons' Hall, London, gent., reciting indentures of lease and release dated 4 and 5 April 1766 by which John Knottesford conveyed to Robert, Earl of Catherlough lands including those in question for £11,300 of the residue of two several terms of 200 and 2000 years created and assigned by instruments therein also recited in a fourth part of the manor of Studley and the messuage or manor of Holt, in trust for the said Robert, Earl of Catherlough.
