Description

Gift from Philip son and heir of Roger Chedewynde knt. to John de Weston' and Richard Frebern of Couentr' of 21 acres of land with woods growing upon it in the park of Badesleye, 18 acres lying in length from the road leading from Ketelesstile as far as the gate of the said park called le Abbeywey and extending as far as Geggegroue, and in breadth from the ditch of the late Isabella, wife of Philip de Chetewynde dropping into the said park towards the manor of Badesleye, and the other 3 acres lying beyond Geggegroue towards the waste land and extending in length from the lower headland of the said 18 acres towards the waste land called Kyngeswode, and in breadth from Geggegroue towards the house of the late Joh Sutor', as they are defined by their boundaries. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Warranty clause. Sealing clause.
