Assignment from Peter William March of Berry Hall gent. by the direction of Edward Ferrers of Baddesley Clinton esq. to Oliver Fullwood of Coleshill gent. of three messuages in Baddesley Clinton in the occupation of John Shakespeare, Edward Clarke and Thomas Satchwell, held by the said Peter William March for the term of 500 years by a trust outlined in 426. for which the said Peter was to receive an annual rent of £20. To hold for the remainder of the said term for an annual rent of £20. This assignment contains a recital of a portion of the settlement made on 10 and 11 January 1711/12 [Old style 1712] between George Ferrers of Baddesley Clinton esq. Edward Ferrers son and heir of the said George Ferrers and Richard Purcell of Clements Inn, co. Middlesex gent. of the first part, Charles Salkeld and Benjamin Muchall gents. of the second part, Simon Kempson and Peter William March by the name of William March of the third part, Thomas Berkley esq. and Kenneth Mackenzye of the fourth part, William Somerville and Nathaniel Pigott esqs. of the fifth part, Henry Eyre esq. and Nathaniel Ridley gent. of the sixth part, and Theresa Gibson singlewoman of the seventh part, previous to the marriage of the said Edward Ferrers and Theresa Gibson whereby lands were conveyed to the said Charles Salkeld and Benjamin Muchall to be held for uses as follows: the manor of Baddesley Clinton and lands in the same in the occupation of John Shakespear, Edward Clarke and Thomas Satchwell which were of the annual value of £209, messuages in Baddesley Clinton and Rowington in the occupation of Francis Manton and John ?Griman, a messuage and lands in Kingswood in the occupation of William Duncalf, lands in Rowington in the occupation of Anne Green widow, a messuage, smith's shop and a close called Mudwall in Rowington in the occupation of Francis Manton, a messuage and lands in Baddesley Clinton in the occupation of William Spencer, a messuage and lands in Baddesley Clinton in the occupation of Thomas Patstone, a cottage in Baddesley Clinton in the occupation of John Patstone, and a cottage in Baddesley Clinton in the occupation of John Botts and Edward Emms, all which last mentioned messuages and lands were of the annual value of £300. 13s. 9d. The manor house of Baddesley Clinton and lands called Mill Holme and Oake ground in the occupation of George Ferrers, Dear meadow in the occupation of William Duncalfe, Milking yard in the occupation of George Ferrers, Mill meadow in the occupation of Edward Clarke, Born [Barn] field in the occupation of George Ferrers, a messuage and lands in the occupation of William London, a cottage and tenement in the occupation of William Beck, the Church field in the occupation of Francis Manton, all which lands in Baddesley Clinton and Lapworth were of the annual value of £99 10s. The manor of Kingswood and woods in Kingswood and Baddesley Clinton called Heywood coppice, Sides coppice, Claypitts coppice, Gilberts coppice and Rowington coppice in the tenure of John Clark, the annual value being £100. 3 November 1712.
