Description

Assignment by John Huckell, of Stratford upon Avon, chandler, to John Such of Milcott, gent., and Thomas Halford of Birmingham, 'shortcutler', of a lease from the Mayor, etc., of Stratford upon Avon, dated 1 February 1703/4 (Old style) [1704], for 60 years of two messuages in the High Street, heretofore known as the Bull and then in the tenure of Samuel Warner and Thomas Libeter, together with a messuage called the `Goall', adjoining, bounded by the tenement of Gabriel Holland on the north and a messuage of Sarah Court, widow, in the tenure of John Huckell on the south; to hold the same (now being in the tenure of John Huckell and George Corfield) for the residue of the term in trust for a jointure for Phoebe wife of John Huckell and daughter of Thomas Badger, of Stratford, brazier, in pursuance of the articles [ER2/151].
