Gift from John de Longeleye chaplain to Thomas de Stoke of Baddesleye Clynton', John Waleys of Swethelond' and Agnes his wife of all the land and tenements with their appurtenances in Baddesleye Clynton' which the said John held by the gift and feoffment of the said Thomas i.e. all lands and tenements which formerly belonged to John de Bruyly, one field called Corebrode with adjacent meadow which is called le Brodemedewe, one field called Beleyesheyfeld', one field called Longenewelond, one field called Rysenebruggefeld' with adjacent meadow called Moldefeld', one field with adjacent meadow which belonged to Roger atte Wode, one field which belonged to Walter Honden, one field called Longenewelond, one field with a grove called Newelond', two parts of a certain field called Blakefeld and the adjacent meadow there, together with the reversion of a third part of the same field and meadow which Cecilia widow of James de Clynton' then held of the grantor as dower. Also two parts of a certain field called Lurkereslond and adjacent meadow, with the reversion of a third part of the same field and meadow, which the said Cecilia then held as dower, and all the moorland of the grantor with appurtenances called Roweleyemor. The said John also granted all the rents, services and appurtenances which he held in Baddesleye by the gift and feoffment of the said Thomas i.e. 9s. 5d. annually from Richard le Personnes and William le Wriththe for a tenement held of the grantor, 4s. from Agnes, widow of John de Pacwode, 6s. from John Colynes, 8s. from Thomas de Podenho', 3s. from Henry de Bereford and Matilda his wife for a tenement which they held of the grantor for the term of their lives with reversion of the same tenements after the death of the said Henry and Matilda, 2s. from Thomas Wilkines for a tenement which he held of the grantor and 12d. from Richard Hanuile for a tenement which he held of the grantor. To hold the same to the said Thomas, John and Agnes and the heirs of the said John and Agnes, or in default of such heirs, to Thomas son of Nicholas Wace and Margaret duaghter of Oliver Waleys and their heirs, or in default of such heirs, to the rightful heirs of the said Agnes for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. The said John also granted under the same terms of inheritance a piece of land with adjacent meadow called Morecroft' which Cecilia widow of James de Clinton held of him for the term of her life. In return for these lands the grantees were to give annually 4 marks at the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Mary and at Michaelmas in equal portions to the men of the parish church of Baddesleye Clynton' to maintain a chapel to the glory and honour of the Blessed Mary in the same church for the souls of the said Thomas and Isabella his wife, their ancestors and their heirs and for the souls of all the parishioners of Baddesleye Clynton'.
