Lease and Release: Long Marston

Description

Lease and Release dated 10 and 11 February 1769 by Walter Parry the elder of Warwick, dyer (son and heir of Walter Parry of Fell Mill, Hampton, deceased), Margaret Parry, wife of Walter the elder and Walter Parry the younger of Warwick, dyer, son and heir apparent of the said Walter and Margaret, to John Haynes the younger of Long Marston, co. Gloucs., yeoman, of two closes and a piece of meadow ground in Long Marston, formerly in the occupation of Joseph Haynes and now of the said John Haynes, which closes were conveyed on 1 and 2 January 1724/5 (Old style) [1725] to Walter Parry deceased, by Thomas Wilks and Elizabeth, his wife, by the names of Martins Close and Parsons Close, and which were left to Walter Parry the elder by the Will of his father, Walter Parry deceased dated 1 July 1736.
