Tyler's Charity
Description
Papers relating to the administration of the charity established by William Tyler who, by his will dated 6 July 1665, gave £250 to trustees to be invested in land from the profits of which:
£12 annually was to be distributed among 12 poor inhabitants;
15 shillings to the minister for a sermon; payments to clerk and sexton;
£2 to provide a dinner for the Mayor and Aldermen of Stratford.
