Description

Probate and will of John Wright of Claybrook Magna, Leicestershire, gentleman. Estate: propertiy in Great Claybrook contained in his marriage settlement with his wife Martha dated the 12th/13th April 1734 regarding messuage and homeland in Claybrook in the tenure of William Townsend, a newly erected messuage in the posession of Joh Wright and one hundred and fifty acres accompanying. The remainder to his daughters Cathering Mason and Elizabeth Wright and their lawful heirs in default of which to the rightful heirs of John Wright. To his wife Martha £100 and househld goods and furniture, th Elizabeth £100, one half of the residue to William Clare of Ibstock and Thomas Clare of Leicestershire in trust to pay interest to Catherine Mason for life, not subject to any husband and after her death to pay principal to any of the children in such proportions as she may devise, the other residue and moieties to his other daughter Catherine.
