Chesterton: early deeds

Description

Grant by William Offord to his daughter Izoude, for service, of seven acres of land, with appurtenances in the fields of Chesterton, which grantor has acquired. Viz: one acre on 'Linlaveson', of which half an acre is the land of William Seymour and the other half acre the land of Thomas Francis; half an acre on 'Warihul', the land of Thomas Francis; half an acre on 'Benelond', land of John Broke; one acre under 'buchme'buthine' of which half is land of William Seymour and the other half of grantors own land. Three and a half acres, of which one acre is land of William Seymour; half an acre land of John Broke; half an acre land of Thomas Francis; half an acre on 'Calvenhul', land of John Broke; half and acre on 'Stanhul', land of William Seymour; half an acre of the grantor's own land, running as far as 'thranbrok'; another half acre of the grantor's own land. To have and hold to the said Isoude and the legitimate heirs of her body by descent. With reversion to grantor and heirs if she die without issue. Paying annually 3d at Michaelmas for all services and suits of court. Warranty clause.
