Chesterton: early deeds

Description

Grant by Hugh de Loges to his son Richard and Edith, daughter of Gilbert Harpour [on marriage] of all that land, with three messuages in Chesterton, called 'Le Berneshide' which he had by grant from his father Hugh de Loges, with the exception of one acre. To hold of the chief lord of the fee with all rights, commons and easements appurtenant thereton, paying annually to the chief lord as is specified in the grant made of the same to Hugh by his father.
