Chesterton: early deeds

Description

Grant by Richard, son of Hugh Knightcote of Chesterton to Robert, son of John Jurdan of the same place, of a half acre of land and a rood which [he had] from Roger Marmion of the same place. To hold freely from grantor and his heirs, paying annually to the heirs of Rober Marmion one halfpenny at Michaelmas for all secular obligations and exactions.
