Counterpart of a Lease from the Right Honourable Thomas, Lord Viscount Weymouth, Baron Thynne of Warminster, Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Garter to John Rastall of Buckland, linen weaver, of a messuage and garden containing three quarters of an acre in the Parish and Manor of Buckland, then in the tenure of John Rastall, for the term of the lives of him John Rastall, Thomas and James Rastall (sons of the said John Rastall) at ayearly rent of 1/- and the payment of 2/- as a heriot upon the dropping of any of the said lives also Suit of Court. The consideration for the granting of that Lease being the surrender to the Lessor of a previous Lease of the same premises and the payment of £5. Signed: John Rastall. Seal of red wax.
