Assignment of Lease: Cliffe Bank, Alveston

Description

Indentures of Assignment between Francis Jelfs of Alveston, yeoman and Ann Auverie of the same place, widow, daughter and only child of the said Francis of one part, and William Hands of Alveston, blacksmith of the other part. Reciting ER3/2957 and that by various mesne assurances (one of the four cottages conveyed by ER3/2957 to William Morrell which was called Cliffe Bank had become vested for the residue of a term of 2000 years in Francis Jelfs and Ann Auverie. It was thereby witnessed that the said Francis Jelfs and Ann Auverie assigned the residue of the said term of years in the said cottage to William Hands for £30.
