Draft Mortgage by Henry Roberts of Stratford-upon-Avon esquire to Henry Eyres Landor of Warwick, gentleman and Walter Landor of Rudgeley, Staffs., gentleman, of a farm house and several pieces of arable meadow and pasture called:- the House ground, the Heath Ground, Horsepool Ground, Banbury Lane Ground, Barn Ground (divided into two pieces), Square Close, Long Ground, Lower Ground, New Bridge Ground, Rickyard Ground, Pasture Ground, Milking Leys, Longmeadow, Lower Ground, Brick Kiln Ground, Furze Ground, First Claydon, Hindes Claydon, Middle Claydon, Oak Tree Claydon, Great Claydon Further Claydon also certain parts of a Lane called Banbury Lane. All which hereditaments were situated in Alveston and contained about 400 acres. Also two cottages in Banbury Lane, in consideration of £12000 lent by Henry Eyres Landor and Walter Landor to Henry Roberts by conveyance in fee subject to a proviso for redemption and by a declaration by Henry Robbins of Barford , gentleman at the request of Henry Roberts that he stood possessed of a term of 1000 years in the property upon trust to secure the said sum of £12000.
